D. Wickham & Co. of Ware, Hertfordshire, introduced their engineering personnel carrier in 1922. Their general usefulness resulted in a manufacturing life span of nearly 70 years. Many variations were produced and here we have the type 17 version presented in BR Maroon. This is an unusual and rare version manufactured from an unknown kit. It is powered by the trailer, runs very smoothly, and is in excellent condition.
