The Lee Marsh Model Company is synonymous with exquisite detail and superb running qualities married to intricate all-brass construction. Their models feature impressive DCC sound but can also be run on analogue layouts.
The GWR 517 class were first introduced in 1868 and 156 were built over a period of 17 years. The class laid the groundwork for the GWR 48/58XX class and received many modifications over their working lives, including fully covered cabs and auto train apparatus. Withdrawals of the class started in 1904, although some soldiered on until the mid 1940s.
