From the Masterpiece Models 'Lite' range comes this GWR Class 58xx. Rarely seen on the pre-owned market, these models exhibit the Masterpiece hallmarks of high build quality and superb detailing but at a more affordable price point. This example has been weathered by the previous customer and also features DCC sound.
The GWR's Class 58xx engines were outwardly similar to the Class 14xx but lacked Autotrain equipment. No. 5811 entered service in 1933 and served the Western Region for 25 years.

The model is in near mint condition, with just a few light marks to the inside of the bunker. The original box and paperwork are supplied, but the model will be shipped in one of our foam-lined boxes for protection. |
