B.R. Models Finescale O Gauge GWR/BR Twin Railcar Kit

In 1941/42 the GWR produced two pairs of twin railcars with both cars powered and equipped with lavatory and buffet for longer distance cross-country runs. Capacity was 104 people but an additional coach could be inserted to make a three coach unit and these could be found working on the Birmingham-Cardiff route in the early 1940's. The units were ultimately replaced by higher capacity equipment  and indeed three of the 4 carriages succumbed to fire damage. The B.R. Models kits make an excellent model of the prototype and are complete with all fittings, wheels, motors and gears.
