Whilst designed to play second fiddle to the more glamorous 'Pacifics' and 'Royal Scots', Stanier's 'Jubilees' were a hugely successful design of express passenger engine that became particularly associated with services from London St .Pancras.
Featuring all-brass construction the Sancheng models are the go-to production model for any Midland-themed layout. Believed to be painted by Paul Moore and crisply finished in BR Green, this particular model has the rarer Fowler tender, a feature of some Jubilees in the early 1950's.
