Introduced in the 1920's, the 'B sets' were a simple concept for the movement of small to medium traffic volumes on quieter rural routes and branch lines. Lasting to the early 1960's they were a common sight on GWR metals frequently behind a Pannier Tank or 45xx Class locomotive. This gauge one set is in good condition but with some condition issues as noted below.

Condition Description |
In very good condition overall but would benefit from additional cleaning - some spotting to the roofs which is probably residue from running behind live steam. A number of windows have become detached and will require re-fixing. These are in the coaches. |
