Happy New Year!

May I start by wishing you all a very happy new year and hope that the festive period has left you all feeling rested and refreshed.

2017 was a busy and exciting year for all of us at ECT; with 2018 gearing up to exceed it in every way. The year ended with delivery of the long awaited Darstaed O Gauge Mk1 Set A's in chocolate and cream and more recently in Southern green (both now for sale on our website).

For those of you unaware, we recently paid a visit to 'Over Peover' (one of the Countries most astonishing layouts), here we ran a rake of 8 Darstaed choc and cream Mk1 coaches - which as it happens is the origin of the photo heading this email. We took a few videos of these running and one can be seen on YouTube by clicking here (more to come later this week).

What's to come later this year then, you may be wondering? To start with January will see the delivery of more Darstaed Set A's with singles and Set B's closely following. We'll continuously be adding O Gauge and Gauge 1 to the website with other scales/gauges being available for sale on our eBay store. Our list of exhibitions has also slightly grown with the addition of The Kettering O Gauge Show and one more exhibition slightly closer to home (although this is yet to be announced). We will also be stocking MTH finescale coaches on the website and will aim to add more product lines by the end of the Year.

There's a huge and comprehensive list of plans for the year ahead alongside some exciting announcements and website improvements - too many to go over in one email!

To start the year with a bang we have decided to have a January on a huge amount of our O gauge stock! The sale will start at 10:00PM this evening!

Simply go to the website and click on 7mm O Gauge under the shop tab and then click on the reduced category - here you will find all the items in our sale.

Finally I'd like to say a huge thank you to all of you. The traffic to the website this year has been incredible and everyone has been a pleasure to deal with with myself, Paddy and Hannah meeting many of you for the first time. As always, if there are changes you would like to see to the website, newsletter or if you have any other general suggestions then please feel free to get in touch - we're always looking to improve and grow!

I hope you all have a cracking start to the year.
Kindest regards,
Ellis.
