The last year has been a busy one for Ellis Clark Trains: it’s been twelve months since we launched our website; in April we relocated to larger premises in Skipton, North Yorkshire; and more recently we employed our first full time member of staff (thus giving me time to write this newsletter). Many a time I have been asked "Where will you be exhibiting next?", "What do you currently have in stock?", and "What are you planning to display at your next exhibition?" These weekly newsletters are designed to answer such questions, and keep you up to date with our work.
As stated, I have recently taken on a full time member of staff; Paddy. He will be listing items on the website and eBay, processing and packaging orders, dealing with customer inquiries, and proof reading these emails (his English is far superior to mine!)
So, where will we be next? Last Sunday we attended the Keighley MRC 7mm Exhibition which was fantastic! On November the 26th– 27th it is of course Warley 2016! As usual we will be there with our ECT flag so you won't be able to miss us. After that we will be attending Model Rail Scotland in February, The Festival of Railway Modelling at Ally Pally in March, and many more shows later in the year.
Currently our website features mostly 7mm 'O' Gauge, and although this is what we love and specialise in, Gauge 1 and 'OO' Gauge will begin to appear in the New Year. For now we have uploaded a host of different 7mm loco and rolling stock models, including some beautiful LMS coaches, a Golden Age Models A4 with sound, and a host of various works locomotives!
