It's All For Show...

Every self-respecting model needs somwhere to show off once in a while. Cabinets are fine up to a point, but trains belong in a landscape. Our new HQ in Skipton provides us with the space (and the excuse!) to develop a series of scenes on which to photo and film our products – and the first of these arrived last week.

OO Gauge model railway diorama with a single-paltform country station and sidings amid a rural landscape
Constructed by master model-maker Dan Evason, we’ve yet to name this idyllic slice of green and pleasant land, but it’s already proved a hit with models keen to try it out for size. We’ll be taking it to exhibiitions to display samples of our latest OO Gauge models, and it’ll be joined later this year by a large-scale sister.

Elsewhere in the empire, we've been busy filming content for our YouTube channel this week, which we’ll aim to keep updated much more frequently with the latest on our models, antics and general take on the world of miniature trains.

Filming underway for the Ellis Clark Trains YouTube channel. Andy demonstrates Clark Railworks models on the new dioranma layout.

And in case you missed it, Starship Clark is about to launch off on a whistle-stop tour of the country, with three major shows over the next four weeks. We’ll be in Kettering this Saturday (7th) for the Guage O Guild’s Spring Show, Alexandra Palace two weeks later for the London Festival of Railway Modelling and Glasgow on the 27th–29th for Model Rail Scotland in its new post-equinox slot.

A spaceship pilot with a Cockapoo mascot guides his craft on a tour of the solar system. His nav screen suggests he will visit London, Kettering and Glasgow on tour with Ellis Clark Trains.

All three shows have a different flavour – and don’t worry, we’ve more than enough stock in the hold, with our customary show-exclusive offers to sink your teeth into when we land.

See you out there!
