Constructed and finished to a high standard from a mixture of kit and scratch built components, this excellent brass built example of an ex-LMS Princess Coronation/Duchess Class has been finished in a lovely rendition of BR's Lined Green with Late Crests. Featuring an excellent cab backhead, the model has further been upgraded with in-house weathering courtesy of Neil Armitage and has been fitted with a authentic Paul Chetter sound file on a Zimo decoder.
Built in 1944, this example of the class was firstly shedded at Crewe North shed and lasted in service until 1964. Sadly she was later cut up for scrap after withdrawal from Carlisle Upperby Shed with a service life of just over 20 years.

Condition Description |
Model in excellent overall condition and constructed/finished to a high standard. The model is however missing one or two components including one front lamp bracket and part of one tender hand brake handle. There are also one or two light blemish marks to the boiler and some areas of light paint chipping across the model. The cab has a lean upwards towards the tender on both sides |
