Finescale O Gauge Ellis Clark Trains Black 5 BR Black No.45428 DCC Sound

1 item left

Whilst perhaps better known for its time in preservation as 'Eric Treacy', Black Five No.45428 enjoyed a brief moment of fame in 1967 when Leeds Holbeck shed smartened up the loco for Royal Train and special duties, including the last London-destined train from Bradford Exchange (the penultimate steam working from this station).  To commemorate its brief moment of glory all those years ago the North Yorkshire Moors Railway has recently returned the loco to near-1967 condition for its 2025 steam gala. To mark that occasion we felt that one of our own ECT Black Fives should join the party and  Neil Armitage has produced a very near replica of 45428 in gala/1967 condition.  Complete with smoke-box writing, painted cylinder heads, all accessories, current AWS box, offset front lamp, and of course DCC sound, this is a fitting tribute to a fine locomotive.  An absolute one-off, this will not be repeated.
