Introduced by Patrick Stirling between 1882-1901 for the Great Northern Railway, 322 of these useful 0-6-0s were designed for general freight workings on the network. In 1900 12 locomotives were transferred to the Midland & Great Northern Railway and were classified as DA. Sadly no examples have been preserved.
This beautiful model has been professionally constructed by Lawrence Scale Models. Finished as no. 82, it is in excellent condition.
