Featuring all-brass construction and superb running characteristics, this Fulgurex model is a beautiful example of the American-built SNCF Class 141R locomotives, of which 1340 were constructed.
This model depicts one of the oil fired locomotives built by Lima Locomotive Works between 1945 and 1947. The engines lasted in service until 1974; 12 have been preserved, with a number operational in France and Switzerland.
The model comes with a superb booklet detailing the history of these locomotives. Although written in French, it contains a wealth of evocative photos and drawings.

Condition Description |
In excellent overall condition. The model has one or two minor chips to the paint finish and some minor blemishes to the boiler and running plate due to a prolonged period in storage. The glazing to one of the front cab windows is missing. |
