Sancheng Finescale O Gauge SR 'Schools' Class No. 928 'Stowe' SR Malachite Green

1 item left

The Southern Region's V Class engines were designed to operate second-tier express services across the network, where short turntables necessitated an engine with a compact wheelbase. They were named after well-known public schools, and 40 were built.

Sancheng/Finescale Brass produced a limited number of these attractive engines to their usual exacting standards, and this fine example has been finished as no. 928 'Stowe' in the malachite green livery worn by the class in the late 1940s.
