The Midland's Class 1P 0-4-4T engines were designed for commuter services and built at Derby and Queens' Park Works between 1889 and 1893, with a further batch produced by the LMS in 1932/3. The Class had a long working life, with many examples inherited by British Railways and used as mixed traffic locos until 1960.

Condition Description

Good Overall - Handrail loose at front of loco. Missing front coupling hook. Corrosion spot on one tank. Loose fitting to cab. Rough finish, with scratches and small dents to some parts including strut to the steam dome and around the top edges of the tanks.
