Constructed to an professional standard from an etched/ cast kit. The real 2516 was built in 1897 at Swindon. This Dean Goods loco spent the majority of her BR life working in Wales, from Oswestry to Brecon, including Llanidloes, and also Reading. She was withdrawn in 1956, and amazingly, she was still carrying the GWR lettering rather than the BR crests.

The model is in near mint condition overall with a couple of small build blemishes. There are also some very small chip/ blemishes to the paintwork. The backhead displays a very detailed layout of the cab controls. |
