A rare offering for the 'workshop' category, this model of 'Tenby Castle' requires some remedial work.
Designed by Charles Collett and introduced from 1923, the GWR Castle class was similar to the earlier Star Class but with a larger boiler and extended frames. No. 7026 was part of an early BR batch constructed in 1949; allocated new to Stafford Road, the locomotive lasted 15 years in service and was later cut up for scrap from Tyseley Shed in 1964.
*Please note that items sold via The Workshop are not covered by our usual warranty and are intended as project pieces requiring maintenance and/or rectification.
