Carried today by preserved Class 45 D123 the name 'Leicestershire and Derbyshire Yeomanry' was in fact originally applied to Class 46 D163, latterly 46026. That loco is presented here in the form of the kit-built Just Like The Real Thing model. With power delivered via both bogies (see notes) this is an excellent runner and a heavily weathered finish captures the look of these fine locomotives in the twilight of their career.
