The Fowler-designed 4F 0-6-0s were the one of the classic workhorses of the LMS, at home on freight and quite mundane duties. In heavily weathered unlined black condition this is an excellent model of No.4490. Built to a professional standard by John Harvey it is an excellent runner, fitted with a MSC multi-stage gearbox.
