Constructed from an ACE Products Kit, this LNER Thompson rebuild of an LNER A1 has been constructed to an excellent standard and decorated in as rebuilt, one off Great Eastern Railway blue livery that was applied to the locomotive in 1945.

A locomotive surrounded by controversy, 'Great Northern' appeared in this guise after Thompson rebuilt it from its original A1 form in 1945. However with the locomotive being the first ever Gresley Pacific, the rebuild angered many enthusiasts and railwaymen as the locomotive was rumoured to be selected for preservation pre-rebuilding. The locomotive was the only one built to the design and was later scrapped in 1962.

Condition Description	Model in excellent overall condition. Model is missing one front footstep, and has some tarnishing to its coupling rods. Model also has one or two small chips/blemishes to its overall paint finish. Lining is also worn in places due to age.
