Showroom
Our Skipton showroom is open weekdays 9am until 5pm and by appointment on weekends.
This one's special. Most people know that Robert Stephenson's 'Rocket' was the victor at the now-legendary Rainhill Trials in 1829. There have been many models of the engine – but few as large or breathtaking as this beautiful example from O.S. models of Japan.
Never used by its previous owner, the 5 inch Gauge engine and coach are in near mint condition and come complete with a circle of track. The passenger car is fitted with a saddle and footrest, and there is a wooden display stand for the engine. One of a small handful built, this is an incredibly rare item and represenets a unique opportunity for both collectors and live-steam enthusiasts.
Please note that due to this model's weight and value, it cannot be posted and is available for collection from our showroom only.
