A French Class 242 AT 4-8-4 Compound Tank locomotives from Fulgurex, showcasing the sublime detail and build quailty typical of the manufacturer. This particular loco is one of a limited production of 250 models produced in 1979. It is in superb condition and appears to have had limited use. It features all-brass construction, with working directional lamps and sprung buffers/couplings.
The 242 AT engines were built in the late 1920s for the Paris-Lyon-Méditerranée Railway and designed for heavy suburban work.
