The Great Central Railway's Class 9N locos were designed for suburban passenger work and were reclassified A5 by the LNER. No. 5024 plied its trade in the Colwick area.
This example has been constructed to a professional standard from a Norman Wisenden brass kit and painted by Larry Goddard.

In excellent overall condition, with a few light chips to the paintwork. There is also evidence of a past repair to its coupling rods. The model's whistle appears to have been knocked slightly off centre. |
