Our Skipton showroom is open weekdays 9am until 5pm and by appointment on weekends.
To service in the latter days of the Great Central Railway from where the B7 class originated, No.61705 had a short-ish life being withdrawn in 1950. Like many of its class it was not totally successful but did survive, just, to BR days as it is featured here. The model has been professionally constructed and painted by Geoff Richards from a Gladiator kit and is an exceptional model of the class. Some finishing details are required - cab windows, tender coal - but overall this is a super model of a missing class of pre-grouping locos.
