Showroom
Our Skipton showroom is open weekdays 9am until 5pm and by appointment on weekends.
Built as a two-cylinder version of his three-cylinder 2-6-4T, Stanier's Class 4Ps were intended for suburban passenger trains but quickly found themselves on mixed traffic duties, with BR classifying them as 4MT. Sadly none of this type have been preserved, with the last withdrawn in 1967. The model, from an unknown kit, is in overall excellent condition and comes in lined LMS black.
