Built in 1937, no. 60031 was part Gresley's record-breaking A4 class of locomotives. The engine was allocated to Haymarket and St Rollox sheds throughout its working life, working top-link expresses until displaced by early diesels. In service until 1965, the locomotive was sadly cut up shortly afterwards.
This beautiful model from Golden Age features all-brass construction and factory-fitted DCC sound and smoke. Other features include a working smokebox door and inside motion.
