Product Information

This beautiful (and rare) quintuplet of Rheingold passenger coaches has been superbly recreated in 1:45 scale by MTH (their ref:20-60017), with all vehicles featuring intricately detailed interiors, exquisite printed details, full interior lighting and external working tail lamps on the luggage car.

The Rheingold was an icon of European railway opulence and from 1928 operated between Geneva and Amsterdam via Germany's prosperous Rheinland cities. Finished in blue and cream livery, the coaches here depict the earliest variant of passenger car used on the service, which were some of the most advanced and well-appointed of their era.
