An excellent example of the increasingly rare Sancheng/Finescale Brass ex-LMS 'Princess Coronation/Duchess' class designed for express passenger workings by Sir William Stanier. This example No. 46245 was constructed in 1943 and was allocated to Camden Shed from new. Lasting in service until 1964, the locomotive was eventually withdrawn from Crewe North Shed and sadly later scrapped.
This beautiful model appears here in near-mint condition and features excellent running characteristics.
