A beautiful model of a fascinating prototype, this 3-Truck Shay steam engine features all-brass construction and has been expertly finished by Alan Brackenborough. Designed to haul heavy freight trains on steeply graded routes, the engine is a joy to watch as its vertically mounted pistons get to work.
