This elegant example of Stanier's first Pacific has been constructed from a Gladiator kit, and perfectly captures the poise and power of these impressive engines. Featuring all brass construction, professional paintwork and helical gearing, the model here is in excellent condition and features a wealth of detail.
Built in 1935, the locomotive was one of 12 destined for the West Coast Main Line's top express services and served BR until 1962, being withdrawn and later scrapped from Edge Hill Shed.
