After the early years on the West Coast Main Line the whole class 50 fleet moved south to begin a new life on Western metals where they were to see out their days. After the transition of the fleet re-furbishment followed, largely at Doncaster Works. The new look to the class is represented here by Heljan's model number 4020, this example in near mint condition.
