An Aster factory-built PLM/SNCF class 231A, in near mint condition and un-steamed.
A total of 289 of these locomotives were constructed during a period of 1914-1921, with 45 locomotives being built at North British Locomotive Works due to the outbreak of World War 2. With a top speed of 81mph, these locomotives were assigned to top-link expresses until withdrawal in 1968. One locomotive (no. 231 G 558) has been preserved.

In near mint condition, with no discernible marks or blemishes. Appears to have never been steamed. One screw missing from handrail bracket. Model has some very minor handling marks. |
