The Great Central Railway's Class 9N locos were designed for suburban passenger work and were reclassified A5 by the LNER. No. 5007 (built 1923) plied its trade across the ex-GCR network from allocations diverse as Kings Cross, Bradford Hammerton Street and Gorton before finally ending its career in 1958.
Constructed to an excellent standard from a brass kit of unknown origin, this model has been authentically weathered and fitted with a decoder (non-sound) for operation on DCC systems.

Model in excellent overall condition with a couple of light marks/scratches across its body/paintwork. The coupling rods on one side have also been fitted upside down. Model is also missing its rear vacuum brake pipe and rear bunker footstep |
