Constructed between 1930 and 1931, the PRR class 01 was built for the New York to Washington Electrification project. The locomotives were used predominantly for short passenger journeys between Newark, New Jersey and Penn station in New York City and were eventually withdrawn during the mid 1960s.
This is an impressive model from Californian manufacturer Sunset Models and is in excellent overall condition. Constructed from brass, the model boasts working lights, a factory paint finish, excellent running capabilities and posable pantographs.
