Our working drophead buckeye couplings can be used with the knuckle 'dropped', so that link couplings from locos or wagons may be placed over the hook; or with the knuckle raised for easy connection to other knuckle-type couplers commonly used on coaches.
Featuring super-fine cast metal construction, these sprung couplings are adjustable via slots on the drawbar and can be fitted to most ready-to-run and kit-built stock through the bufferbeam coupling eye. The couplings can operate on Radius 2 curves when used on their 'longer' setting.
