Built new for BR's Western region in 1957, this example of Rustons 88DS shunter lasted inservice until 1981. Numbered No. 20 the locomotive was assigned to Departmental use and was based at Reading where it would spend its entire working life. Sadly after being replaced, the locomotive was cut up in 1982.
Accurascale's venture in to O Gauge faithfully captures the lines of this diminutive shunter, perfect for any small industrial scenario. An excellent runner, the model is also fitted with an excellent Factory DCC sound file.
