Now under construction by the A1 Locomotive Group No.2007 'Prince of Wales' will be the 7th 'P2' locomotive to be built, some 60 years after the last ran on British Railways. Ace Trains have produced this truly fabulous model to commemorate this latest new-build project, finished here in high gloss apple green. With two motors and flywheel drive the model is designed for two or three rail operation via a cab mounted switch. The model includes working headlights, sprung buffers and full cab detail with lit firebox. As with all ACE models it will run on curves down to 30 inch radius.

The model features actual working (spinning) rotary valve gear. We recommend regular lubrication of gears with a Teflon type cycle grease. |
