Constructed and finished to a high standard by Richard Pogson from an ACME kit, this excellent example of Hughes 'Crab' is in excellent condition and finished as no. 13030.
Introduced from 1926 the LMS 2-6-0 'Crab' was a successful mixed traffic locomotive influenced by both L&Y and Midland Railway designs. Designed by George Hughes no. 13030 was built in 1926 at Crewe and was withdrawn from BR service in 1965.

Model in excellent overall condition with some small paint chips to a couple of areas including the top of the smoke box and running plate. There is also one front lamp bracket missing and some small minor areas of oxidation to the wheels |
