Today the carriage of foodstuffs is exclusively by road, but prior to this one major sausage manufacturer had its own dedicated wagons for moving its products. This original LMS wagon built to Diagram 2001 was one such vehicle, seeing service well in to BR days. Superbly constructed and finished from a CRT kit it epitomises a very different age.
