Showroom
Our Skipton showroom is open weekdays 9am until 5pm and by appointment on weekends.
Built at Brighton works in the 1870s, the 50 members of Stroudley's A1 class found varied work on Southern metals and ranged from London's main-line termini to the Isle of Wight. Eventually displaced from front-line services to shunting and rural work, some 'Terriers' survived into the 1960s.
Our model here is Dapol's 7S-010-004 representing 'Thames' in its Improved Engine Green livery and like most Dapol small locos, an excellent slow runner.
