Showroom
Our Skipton showroom is open weekdays 9am until 5pm and by appointment on weekends.
Built at Brighton works in the 1870s, the 50 members of Stroudley's A1 class of engine found varied work on southern metals and ranged from London's main line termini to the Isle of Wight. Eventually displaced from front-line services to shunting and rural work some 'Terriers' survived into the 1960s.
Our model here is Dapol's Gaugemaster exclusive No. 32635 'Brighton Works' (item No. GM7210102), and is fitted with Dapols excellent factory DCC Sound file.
