Originally built in 1967 for the Diamond Mines of South Africa, 'Vale of Ffestiniog' is the only non-steam powered locomotive on the Ffestiniog Railway that can match the haulage capability of the Double Fairlies. Wonderfully recreated by DJB Engineering – and a rarity on the 16mm Narrow Gauge market – this excellent example has been decorated in the livery it wore when new to the railway.
