BR's Standard Class 7 locomotives entered service in the early 1950s and were named after famous Britons and British Landmarks. 'Firth of Clyde' spent its 12-year working life allocated to depots as diverse as Polmadie, Holyhead, Banbury and Carlisle Kingmoor before withdrawal in 1966.
This fine kit-built DJH model features cast metal construction and evokes the commanding presence of the prototype. Featuring impressive build quality and high paint standard, the model has been further enhanced with a beautiful weathered finish by Faye Moore.
