Showroom
Our Skipton showroom is open weekdays 9am until 5pm and by appointment on weekends.
Considered to be the ultimate evolution of Gresley's original, Peppercorn's A1s entered service at the dawn of nationalisation and earned their spurs hauling some of the East Coast Main Line's top-link named expresses.
This beautiful model has been finished to a high standard from a DJH kit as no. 60158, an engine that was new to Kings Cross in 1949 and ended its days at Doncaster in 1964.
The model has been painted and decorated by Larry Goddard and also benefits from excellent DCC Sound & Smoke with a heavily weathered finish.
