History of '45337'

New to the LMS 04/1937 with Armstrong Whitworth works number 1392. 45337 was initially allocated to Blackpool (24E). When under BR it was allocated to Agecroft (26B) where it  remained for 15 years. 45337 had been re-allocated to Southport (27C) at the end of August 1963, and then to Carlisle Kingmoor (12A) November 1964 where it was withdrawn in February 1965. Bought by the Woodham Brothers scrapyard in Barry 45337 remained there until 1984 where the 26B Railway Co Ltd purchased her for £7,500 in 1983. Costing £150,000, 45337 was returned to working order at the East Lancashire Railway in 1995. Going on tour 45337 has also visited Peak Rail, Nene Valley Railway, Mid Hants Railway, West Somerset Railway, Keighley & Worth Valley Railway and Llangollen.
