Constructed from brass components of possible Scorpio Models origin, this charming 14xx has been finished to a high standard as no. 1409 in BR Unlined Green with an excellent weathered finish.
No. 1409 was constructed in 1932 and was allocated to Gloucester Horton Road nearly all its working life. Lasting in service until 1963, the locomotive was later scrapped in 1964.
