Showroom
Our Skipton showroom is open weekdays 9am until 5pm and by appointment on weekends.
Professionally constructed, decorated and weathered from a CSP Models kit, this wonderful example of an ex-SR Lord Nelson has been fitted with fully working inside valve gear and an excellent wealth of backhead detail. Finished in a beautiful rendition of BR Green with Early Crests, the model here has been finished as no. 30861 'Lord Anson'.
Designed in 1926 by Richard Maunsell, these 4 cylinder locomotives became the most powerful in the UK at the time and hauled the Southern Railway's top express services throughout the South-West of England. The last locomotive was withdrawn in 1962 and the class pioneer 'Lord Nelson' is preserved.
