Finished as the Gloucestershire & Warwickshire's flagship locomotive, this Merchant Navy needs little introduction. Professionally constructed and finished from a Modern Outline Kit, the model features beautiful handlining and superb paint finish complete with a professional light weathering. Fitted with an ABC Gearbox, the model is an excellent runner and features a 'Atlantic Coast Express' train headboard.
Oliver Bulleid's express locomotives entered service on the Southern Region during the Second World War and distinguished themselves for over two decades hauling boat trains to the South Coast. They were particularly associated with the 'Bournemouth Belle' and 'Golden Arrow', for which they became the motive power of choice.
