Product Information

Constructed from a brass kit of unknown origin, this example of a LMS rebuilt 2P has been finished as no. 378 in unlined maroon and is an excellent runner courtesy to its helical gearbox and American style pickups.

Originally built as the Midland Railway 1808 class between 1888-1891 at Derby works, these locomotives were rebuilt as the 483 class starting in 1912, losing their Victorian looks to make way for what would be the footprints for the LMS 2P class. Lasting into BR service the class were all withdrawn and scrapped between 1950-59.

Condition Description	Model in good overall condition with oxidation present to all its wheels and axles. The models tender coal rails are also bent in various places and the tender water air duckets are also loose in there lug holes. There are also various chips and blemish marks across the models paintwork, particularly along the running plate on both locomotive and tender
