Showroom
Our Skipton showroom is open weekdays 9am until 5pm and by appointment on weekends.
Constructed and finished from a brass kit of unknown origin, this excellent example of the Bahamas' Locomotive Society's flagship mainline certified locomotive has been wonderfully recreated in early 1960/70s preservation livery. Finished in a lovely rendition of LMS Maroon, the model has been pro-glossed/weathered in-house courtesy of Faye Moore.
While designed to play second fiddle to the more glamorous 'Pacifics' and 'Royal Scots', Stanier's 'Jubs' were a hugely successful design of express passenger engine that became particularly associated with services from St Pancras and across the ex-Midland portion of the LMS system.
